More to come!

A visit with Commonwealth Academy

After speaking to our High School students about his academic journey with ADHD, Timothy Denevi takes a few minutes with us to record an interview. His reflections underscore the importance of an academic environment that not only embraces, but is specifically constructed to address the many different ways students learn.

Thanks to the talented students at Commonwealth Academy for making this great video about Hyper. It was a wonderful visit!

At Politics and Prose

http://www.politics-prose.com/event/book/timothy-denevi-hyper-personal-history-of-adhd In his informative and moving memoir of growing up with ADHD, Denevi, currently a visiting writer at George Mason, puts evocative prose and compelling storytelling techniques in the service of conveying the dual history of his own and the culture's understanding of what an attention disorder is and how it should be treated.

Check out my reading  from Hyper at Politics and Prose bookstore on September 2, 2014.

An intro to Hyper from Simon & Schuster
